FC27

EA Sports FC 27 hit store shelves this month, and with a new game comes new player ratings. Whether you are taking Charlotte FC to the MLS Cup Final or putting together your dream squad in Ultimate Team, here is everything you need to know about Charlotte FC’s roster ratings in FC 27.

The Golden Three

Charlotte FC has three gold card players this season: Pep Biel, Allan Saint-Maximin and Kristijan Kahlina. All three have overall ratings above 75, making them a great asset for your ultimate team.

Top 3

Biel is the highest-rated on the team with a 78 overall. His biggest strengths are his 77 passing and 79 dribbling. Combine that with his 74 shooting to perfectly simulate his dynamic play style as an attacking midfielder.

Recent acquisition Allan Saint-Maximin is just two points shy of Biel with a 76 overall. Saint-Maximin is easily the fastest on the team with an 89 in pace. What he lacks in shooting ability and passing, he makes up for with his 83 dribbling.

While Biel and Saint-Maximin add strength to Charlotte’s attack, Kristijan Kahlina provides golden goalkeeping with his 75 overall ranking. Kahlina's 77 pace means speed and agility while defending the goal and playing the ball in the box, an area where his 73 passing and 74 dribbling will be of big help.

The 73 Club

Just below the golden tier sit two Charlotte FC Veterans in Ashley Westwood and Tim Ream. They each sit two points shy at 73 overall, yet the two old-timers still have an impressive stat sheet.

Ashley Westwood has all the abilities you want out of a defensive midfielder: 75 passing, 66 dribbling, and 68 defense. What stands out is his 64 shooting. Westwood will not be one to take many shots for your team, but if the opportunity presents itself, he can hold his own when in front of goal.

Tim Ream’s 45 pace makes him one of Charlotte’s slowest starting players, but where he lacks mobility, he makes up for it with defensive prowess. Ream boasts a 74 defensive rating that goes hand in hand with his 75 physicality. Ream will not only provide strong defense, but also play the full 90 over multiple games a season.

Biggest Surprises

Behind Biel and Saint-Maximin is Charlotte’s highest-ranked offensive player, Liel Abada. At 70 overall, Abada is one of the fastest players on the roster with an 87 pace. Combined with 67 shooting and 70 dribbling, Abada holds a one-point advantage over striker Idan Toklomati.

Starting striker Idan Toklomati holds an overall 69 rating, with only a 64 in shooting abilities. His biggest strength is his speed, with an 84 pace. His 73 physicality is also notable, as he will be able to play more minutes and more matches in a season.

Behind Toklomati in the depth chart is Archie Goodwin, who sits at a 63 overall. The striker’s best ability is his speed, with a 76 pace. His 62 shooting and 64 dribbling make him a reliable sub, but his 65 physicality allows him to start should you need.

Brandt Bronico is the team's lowest-rated veteran with a 67 overall. But while his overall is low, he is a well-rounded player with most of his rankings between 64 and 67. The two major outliers are his 59 shooting and 74 physicality. Bronico may not lead your squad in goals, but he can be a useful asset in transitioning the ball.

Rising Stars

Multiple Crown Legacy players have been called up since the last EA Sports FC game, with many of them sitting at the bottom of the depth chart, with room to improve as they play more at the MLS level.

Nimfasha Berchimas is the highest-rated of the Crown Legacy players with a 56 overall. His 75 pace rivals any other player on Charlotte’s roster, but his sub-60 stats in every other category put him at only a 56 overall.

Goalkeeper Isaac Walker holds a 54 overall, with his greatest strengths being his 58 pace and 55 dribbling. Walker is a player who could see improvement in the ratings as his career develops, but for the time being, he is in the GK3 slot behind 60 overall Tyler Miller.

Jack Neeley and Aron John both signed to Charlotte FC under homegrown contracts, and while both are hometown favorites, their rookie status does not translate well to EA FC ratings. Neeley and John are rated 54 and 53, respectively. Neeley and John serve best as substitutes, with both having their highest rankings in mobility and ball movement.

Charlotte’s team provides a good balance of star players for Ultimate Team, as well as reliable silver card players who will prove useful when playing a season mode or quick match.

Best Attributes

Saint-Maximin will excel when it comes to moving the ball upfield and getting into scoring position. His 83 dribbling and 89 pace will allow Saint-Maximin to dice up whichever defense you face.

Best Attributes

While ASM provides offensive excellence, Biel ultimately takes the crown as the team's best overall player. Just like in real life, Biel’s stats make him capable of playing in multiple positions. Players can keep him in his traditional attacking midfield position or move him to the forward line as a winger. If there is one Charlotte player you want on your ultimate team, Pep is your best bet.

Djibril Diani has the highest physicality rating, making him a high-endurance player who can be a useful asset for Charlotte in career mode. Diani’s other stats do not compare to his physicality rating, so he may need to be rotated for Bronico or Luca de la Torre in big matches.
