$50,000 GAM has been traded to Vancouver Whitecaps for winger Brandon Cambridge. Cambridge is a 20-year-old Canadian academy product of the Whitecaps who played college soccer for the Portland Pilots for the last 3 seasons. This deal takes place outside of today's MLS SuperDraft since Cambridge is a member of the Whitecaps academy. In his most recent season, he scored 12 goals, seven assists and 31 points on 50 shots before being eliminated by Pittsburgh in the NCAA tournament. He has also netted a team-best five game-winning goals. Cambridge is a US-born, Canadian raised player so he will not occupy an international roster spot. Cambridge is a strong winger capable of contributing heavily to the attack for his team.
