Austin FC is in talks with Veteran Forward Will Bruin

Sources confirmed Austin FC is in talks with forward Will Bruin. The veteran is currently a free agent after spending 7 seasons at Seattle Sounders. This past season Will Bruin scored against Austin FC at Q2 stadium in a 1-1 draw between Seattle and Austin. Will is no stranger to Texas as he spent 5 years at Houston Dynamo where he was the 11th pick in the 2011 MLS Superdraft.

Los Verdes are coming out of a spectacular second season where they finished second in the Western Conference and made a deep run in MLS playoffs losing to eventual champions LAFC in the conference final. Austin have already been active this off season adding another veteran striker Gyasi Zardes to their attack and are looking to continue to add depth as they will participate in the 2023 Concacaf Champions league.
