Biel of the Ball: Pep Biel breaks Charlotte FC’s record for All-Time Goal Contributions

Pep Biel etched his name permanently into the Charlotte FC history books last Saturday. In a thrilling, back-and-forth 3-3 draw against FC Cincinnati, the 30-year-old Spanish midfielder converted a 17th-minute penalty kick.
The goal marked his 49th career goal contribution for The Crown, officially passing Karol Swiderski for the most in club history.
Since joining Charlotte in 2024 on loan from Greek side Olympiacos, Biel has been an offensive powerhouse. He has had an amazing 2026 campaign as well, spearheading Charlotte's attack with 12 goals and 10 assists* in league play.
His milestone highlights a stretch of consistency for the midfielder, further cementing his legendary status in the Queen City.
With Charlotte currently sitting on a seven-match unbeaten run, Biel's record-setting night could not have come at a more crucial point in the season.
