20-year-old striker Idan Toklomati has had an impressive first 1000 minutes of his MLS career, to say the least. The Israeli has come in to fill some big shoes in fan favorite and USMNT regular, Patrick Agyemang, but has exceeded expectations so far.
Toklomati has already surpassed Agyemang’s goal tally in 2025. He possesses a combination of speed, composure, and finishing ability that is rare for someone of his age.
Let's take a look at how Toklomati’s first 1000 minutes of MLS action compares to other Charlotte FC forwards throughout the years. (Stats courtesy of fbref.com. Not including hockey assists.)

In the first 1,000 minutes of MLS play, Toklomati is at the top of the list, which includes some of the biggest-name players in the club's history.
With seven goal contributions, he's above Świderski, Copetti, Agyemang, and Daniel Ríos.
This is a testament to the impact that Toklomati has had early in his career. He is flying under the radar on a league-wide basis, but his goal contributions are incredible for a player that young.
Let's take a look at his goals so far:
What stands out for Toklomati is his positioning and creativity in his finishes. His flicked goal against Sporting Kansas City was a finish that you expect from a veteran.
His first goal against Nashville was also impressive—the composure to lightly touch the ball past the keeper and finish past the backtracking defenders.
His Chicago goal was also a finish to be admired. He is a player who makes the right runs and has an engine that never stops, and that is why he has so many chances to score.
While Toklomati has a long way to go to match the output of players like Świderski, he has had the best first 1000 minutes of any striker for the Crown. At just 20 years old, his name will likely start spreading around the soccer world like wildfire if he continues to contribute at this rate.
