Charlotte FC is set to play the Houston Dynamo tonight at 10:00 PM ET. If they go on to win this match up the results could affect their schedule once MLS matches return on August 20th.

Inter Miami came from behind in spectacular fashion to advance past FC Dallas into the quarterfinals. If Charlotte beat Houston tonight then they will face Miami. At that point, either Charlotte or Miami will be set to play in both the semifinal and the third-place match at a minimum which is scheduled to take place August 19th, one day before Inter Miami and Charlotte FC face off in MLS regular season.

This would cause a scheduling conflict as Charlotte and Miami were scheduled to face off on August 20th in their first match back in MLS. If Charlotte advances past Houston into the quarterfinals then Charlotte's MLS match against Miami will be rescheduled at a later date.

If Charlotte does not advance but Miami advance to the semifinals then their matchup would also need to be rescheduled.
